Kawana Waters Makes it 'Four in a Row' as Queensland's Top Residential Office

The team at Kawana Waters have secured their fourth consecutive win as Top Office in Queensland at the recent Chairman's Awards held at the Gold Coast International.
Outgoing Chairman, Tony Atkinson, who announced his retirement after 25 years in the role, said the strength of Sunshine Coast market combined with the dedication of the entire Kawana Waters team, ensured they remained 'the best of the best' for another quarter.
"Obviously we're delighted to retain the Top Office trophy, especially given the fact that we're now competing against much larger offices than ours. Traditionally the more sizeable rural towns, like Toowoomba and Hervey Bay, have been our major threats for the trophy, however we've noticed the increasing dominance of metropolitan offices such as Cleveland and the like. This type of healthy competition makes us strive even harder to ensure we deliver the results that our clients expect from us" said co-principal, Peter Cox.
It seemed the Kawana Waters office were determined to stake a claim on the night by also winning the highly prized Chariman's Award for Property Management, as well as three 'Top 10 Salesperson in Qld' awards.

The awards recognise outstanding acheivement in residential, commercial and rural property sales and were presented by Channel 10 presenter Wesley Denning with radio man Ian Skippen hosting.
Hundreds of staff from throughout Queensland gathered to celebrate the success of the industry’s leading stars, to network with colleagues and to enjoy a wonderful evening.
The annual state awards are a prelude to the national awards in Hobart on September 9, followed by the annual conference, also in Hobart.

The oldest family-owned real estate company in Australia, Raine & Horne, celebrated its 25th anniversary in the Queensland market in true style at the Gold Coast International Hotel earlier this month.
The Black Tie event, known as the Chairman’s Awards, brings together sales consultants, property managers and principals from across the Queensland network of over 110 offices.
Special guest of the night was Angus Raine whose great, great grandfather was one of the founders of the company. The Sunshine Coast was well represented, with the Freda Fredrick from the Caloundra office taking out Top 5 sales consultant in Qld ($ Value).
Peter Cox & Darren Lockwood, principals of the Kawana Waters office, were singled out for the prestigious Chairman’s Award of Excellence.

Also present was special guest Max Raine whose grandfather started Raine & Horne over 120 years ago.
Hundreds of staff from all over Queensland gathered to celebrate the success of the industry stars, to network with colleagues and to generally relax and enjoy the evening. The Awards flowed, along with the champagne, the music was fantastic, as was the dancing and the end of the evening was reached reluctantly by many. |
